A current BLS certificate is a pre-requisite for entry on the ACLS course. Please forward copy of BLS certificate if already completed.
ACLS involves simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation during learning stations where candidates have opportunity to practice essential skills individually, in a team, and as team leader. Simulations reinforce the key concepts of: proficiency in basic life support care; recognizing and initiating early management of peri-arrest conditions; managing cardiac arrest; identifying and treating ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes; recognizing other life-threatening clinical situations and providing initial care; ACLS algorithms; and effective resuscitation team dynamics.
Courses can be conducted for groups upon request, please email emergencycare.ed@gmail.com
